Privacy Policy

SimSlate ("we", "us") operates simslate.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, where it lives, and how to get it removed. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run an account and a subscription, we run no ad trackers, we set no analytics cookies, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign up we store your email address and a securely hashed credential, managed by our authentication provider (Supabase). We also store your plan choice (free or paid).
• Billing data. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store only your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, plan, and subscription status so we can grant access.
• Waitlist / email forms. If you submit your email in a form on the site, we store that email to contact you about the product.
• Site analytics. We record anonymous page views first-party (page path, referrer, and campaign tag). This uses no cookies, builds no cross-site profile, and honors your browser's Do Not Track setting.
• Product usage. For signed-in users we record basic product events (e.g. "ran a simulation", with your account id and the slate used) to understand which features matter.

What we don't do

• No sale or rental of personal data, to anyone, ever.
• No third-party advertising trackers or ad pixels.
• No analytics cookies and no fingerprinting.
• No collection of payment card details on our servers.

Where your data lives

Account and application data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in the United States). Payment data is held by Stripe. Our application servers run on Render and Google Cloud. Each of these processors handles data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and as required for tax and accounting afterwards. Analytics and usage events are retained for product analysis and periodically pruned.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, at any time — email support@simslate.com from the address on the account. We honor these requests regardless of where you live, which covers the access/deletion rights granted under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.

Children

SimSlate is a tool for real-money fantasy contests research and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes affecting account holders, notify you by email.
