Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of simslate.com and the SimSlate simulator, lineup builder, and related tools (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
What SimSlate is (and isn't)
SimSlate is a statistical research tool. It simulates hypothetical fantasy contests using projections and models. Its outputs are estimates, not predictions or guarantees. Nothing on the Service is financial, betting, or gambling advice, and no result — including a positive simulated ROI — guarantees or implies real-world profit. Daily fantasy sports involve risk; you alone are responsible for your entries and your money. Only use real-money contest sites where doing so is legal for you, and only if you are of legal age.
SimSlate is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DraftKings or any other contest operator; their names appear only to describe compatibility (e.g. CSV export formats).
Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your credentials to yourself: accounts are for one person and may not be shared or resold. You're responsible for activity under your account.
Plans, billing, and refunds
- Free plan. Limited features at no charge; we may adjust its limits over time.
- Monthly subscription. Billed in advance each month via Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time — access continues through the end of the paid period, and no further charges are made.
- Season Pass. A one-time payment granting paid access through the end of the stated season (currently February 15, 2027). It does not renew.
- Refunds. If something's wrong, email support@simslate.com — we handle refund requests case by case and try to be fair. Except where required by law, payments are otherwise non-refundable.
- Prices may change; changes to a recurring price take effect at your next renewal, with notice.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to breach, probe, or overload the Service, or access data or features your plan doesn't include.
- Don't scrape, resell, or systematically redistribute the Service's outputs, models, or data feeds.
- Don't reverse-engineer the simulation engine or use the Service to build a competing dataset or product.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its models, software, and content, is ours. You keep ownership of lineups you build; we claim no rights to your contest entries. Exported files are for your personal use.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of projections, simulations, or availability at any particular time (e.g. before contest lock). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including contest losses or missed winnings.
Changes and termination
We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where significant, notified by email. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for data deletion).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the operator's residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
